In May 2013, the Central Oregon Youth Orchestra (COYO) took center stage for the first time! Over 60 students from throughout Central Oregon presented a landmark concert to an enthusiastic audience of over 500!

The Central Oregon Youth Orchestra is a new program for young, aspiring band and orchestra musicians in Central Oregon seeking an enriched musical experience. COYO is a full-symphonic opportunity designed as a compliment to the fine musical training in the public and private schools. Talented students from Redmond, Madras, Sisters, Terrebonne, Prineville, Bend and La Pine represent the growing and enthusiastic demographic.

The coming 2014-2015 season promises exciting events and exceptional training!
This past spring COYO received a most honorable invitation to perform at Carnegie Hall in New York City on June 14th, 2015. Distinguished Concerts International New York (DCINY) selected our Youth Orchestra from hundreds across the country.
For any musician Carnegie Hall is a dream come true, as one of the most prestigious performance venues in the world for classical music.

The Central Oregon Youth Orchestra is financially sustained through student tuition revenues and donations. COYO conductors, staff, volunteers and local businesses give generously of their time, energy and resources to support the program.
